Text Program Terms

What this is

The Armed Forces SlugFest runs a text messaging program so coaches, team managers and officials can keep up with their games. When you sign up, you may receive:

• A reply to each text you send, such as the score you report or the answer to a question like SCORES or SCHEDULE.
• At most one reminder for a game when no score has been reported.
• A text when one of your team's games is moved to a new date, time or field, postponed, cancelled or put back on.

That is the whole program. There is no marketing or advertising.

How to join

Sign up on the Text Updates page, where you enter your number and tick a box agreeing to these texts, or text JOIN to (240) 916-1601. Agreeing to the texts is never a condition of registering a team or playing.

Message frequency and cost

Message frequency varies and depends on your team's games. Message and data rates may apply, charged by your mobile carrier, not by us.

Opting out

Reply STOP to any message at any time. You will get one reply confirming you are out, and then no further texts unless you sign up again.

Getting help

Reply HELP to any message, or email FrederickElite@yahoo.com.

Carriers and delivery

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to your carrier's network and your phone's settings. The program works with major US carriers, and carrier support can change.

Changes

We may update these terms. The current version is always the one posted on this page. Your privacy choices are described in the Text Program Privacy Policy.
