The basics
This website belongs to Armed Forces SlugFest, run by Frederick Elite, and is operated for us by Mainline Web Design. It serves both the Armed Forces SlugFest and the Zombie Apocalypse SlugFest. By using the site, registering, or paying through it, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you are registering a player under 18, you confirm you are that player's parent or legal guardian, or a coach or manager with the parent's permission.
Registration and fees
- A registration is complete when the form is submitted and the entry fee is paid. Until then a spot is not held. Spots are filled on a first paid basis.
- Fees are shown on the registration page before you pay. Any convenience or processing fee is shown there too.
- Refunds: On or before the registration deadline, full refund minus a processing fee, which is not refundable. After the registration deadline, 50% refund if your spot can be filled from the waitlist, otherwise no refund, as fields and umpires are already committed. Once bracket play begins, no refunds are issued. Weather refunds and credits, and the full policy, are on the Rules and Info page. All refund and credit decisions are subject to final confirmation by the Tournament Director.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of what you submit, including player ages, eligibility, and contact details.
- Armed Forces SlugFest may decline, move, or remove an entry that does not meet its rules or age requirements, and will say why.
Logins and team codes
Director logins and team codes are for the person they were issued to. Keep them private. Anything done through your login or team code is treated as done by you. Tell us right away if you think someone else has it.
Scores, standings, and brackets
Results on the site are posted as reported and may be corrected. Standings and seeds are not official until Armed Forces SlugFest confirms them. Tiebreakers follow the tournament's published rules, and the tournament director's decision on a result is final.
What you submit
When you submit scores, rosters, team names, logos, photos, or messages, you give Armed Forces SlugFest permission to publish them on this site and in its own communications for as long as it keeps the record. You confirm you have the right to submit them. For photos that show minors, you confirm you have the permission of each player's parent or guardian. Do not submit anything false, abusive, or that belongs to someone else.
Photos and media
Games and events are public. Armed Forces SlugFest and its photographers may take and publish photos and video of teams and players at its events, on this site and on its own social media. A parent or guardian who does not want a player shown can tell us in writing before the event, and we will do our best to honor it, and will take down any photo on request afterward.
Using the site
You may use the site to look up and take part in Armed Forces SlugFest and Zombie Apocalypse SlugFest events. You may not scrape it, copy it in bulk, try to get around its logins, submit false reports or scores, or interfere with how it runs. We may block access that breaks these rules.
Waivers and rules
Taking part in Armed Forces SlugFest events is also subject to the tournament's rules, codes of conduct, and the release of liability you acknowledge during registration. Those documents govern play; these terms govern the website.
No guarantees
The site is provided as is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but schedules change, weather happens, and mistakes get made. To the extent the law allows, Armed Forces SlugFest, Frederick Elite, and Mainline Web Design are not liable for losses that come from using the site or from errors in what it shows. Nothing here limits rights the law does not let us limit.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Maryland.
